DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1. What's a view of God that you had in your past that you no longer believe?
2. What are some views of God that some or even many people have that are not accurate?
3. What are some of the first things that come to your mind if you were to describe God to someone else? Why would you choose those things?
4. Read Exodus 3:1-14. What does it mean that God is the great "I AM"?
5. What has been helpful to you as you try to understand the Trinity?
6. Read Exodus 3:12, Joshua 1:9, Isaiah 41:10, Matthew 1:23, and Matthew 28:20.
   What's the significance to you of the fact that God is both eternal and promises to always be with us?

PRAYER
Take time to ask everyone in your group if they have any prayer requests. Then for prayer, first take turns praising God for being the great I AM, the eternal spirit, the self-existing God who is the Holy Trinity (three-in-one) yet who is also always with us. Then pray for each other.
