MIDDLE SCHOOL (Grades 5-7, September - May, Youth Room)
Middle School Discovery is a fun, relaxed environment with game tables, food, and loving adults who help kids know and follow God in their daily lives. The curriculum we use is 252 Preteen from Orange which creatively teaches kids 150 Key Bible Stories and 4 Faith Skills over the course of 3 years. These stories are creatively grouped into 4-5 lessons each month with a common creative theme and a single Life Application and Memory verse on which to focus. Each week, parents are given a Parent Cue and there's an App for parents to follow along with the curriculum and continue conversations at home. HIGH SCHOOL (Grades 8-12)
We encourage high school youth to the worship service with their parents or to volunteer somewhere. The following are great opportunities for youth to use their gifts to serve! If you are interested in serving in any of these areas, contact Hunter and he’ll help you get plugged in!

- SOUND BOOTH - Help run the projection slides during the 1st and/or 2nd service. Training will be provided in advance.
- KIDS DISCOVERY - Assist with the kids programming during the 2nd service as a welcomer or as a small group leader assistant.
- NURSERY - Care for infants and toddlers during the 2nd service.
- GREETER - Welcome people as they arrive for the 1st and/or 2nd service.
Fusion After School Gathering

Fusion is a FREE community-focused after school program operated by Red Wing Youth Outreach that provides a safe place after school for middle school students (grades 5-7) to find support from caring adults and develop various skills. With various activities, on-site tutors to help with homework, and skills-based learning experiences, Fusion is a great experience for middle school students. Young LifeRed Wing Young Life is a gathering for high school students (grades 8 through 12). We sponsor various events, and groups for high schoolers during the school year. Email Hunter Melton for more information or follow the link below to the Young Life website.

Confirmation
Confirmation is an intentional 2-year journey where 7th and 8th graders dig deeper in God’s word with a spiritual mentor and learn the biblical truths of our faith. This is done through weekly meetings with a mentor for bible study, and a monthly gathering with their peers for Confirmation Class where the foundational topics of what we believe are taught. High school youth are welcome to participate, as well, if interested. Check out the information below for more details on our confirmation program. Email Hunter Melton for more information.
Summer CampWhat are you doing this summer?! Our church has a long history of sending many kids and youth to Lake Beauty Bible Camp (LBBC) in Long Prairie, MN each summer. LBBC is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church, and it has been an impactful spiritual experience for many students from First Covenant Church. This is something your kids don't want to miss!
