SUNDAYS (SEPT-MAY), 10:00AM IN THE KIDS WING
We have a great team of caring adults and teens who lead Kids Discovery, Sunday mornings for kids ages 4 through grade 5 during the contemporary service at 10:00AM. Drop off begins at 9:50AM & pick up by 11:10AM. The Kid’s Wing is located downstairs across from the welcome desk. Grades 6-8 meet in the youth room for Middle School Discovery. Following a large group / small group model with fun and creativity, our leaders help kids know and follow God in their daily lives. The curriculum we use is 252 Kids from Orange which creatively teaches kids 140+ Key Bible Stories and 4 Faith Skills over the course of 3 years. These stories are creatively grouped into 4-5 stories each month with a common creative theme and a single Life Application or Virtue and Memory verse on which to focus. You can read more about "Why we choose Orange." Each week, parents are given a Parent Cue and there's an App for parents to follow along with the curriculum and continue conversations at home. You can also find more resources for your family at theparentcue.org. |
Summer CampWhat are you doing this summer?! Our church has a long history of sending many kids and youth to Lake Beauty Bible Camp (LBBC) in Long Prairie, MN each summer. LBBC is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church, and it has been an impactful spiritual experience for many students from First Covenant Church. This is something your kids don't want to miss!

About Us
First Covenant Church is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), which is a rapidly growing multi-ethnic denomination in the United States and Canada, with ministries on five continents of the world. Founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the ECC values the Bible as the word of God, the gift of God's grace, and an ever-deepening spiritual life that comes through faith with Jesus Christ. We value the importance of extending God's love and compassion to a hurting world, and the strength that comes from unity within diversity. |
