Week 4: Walking Daily with God Part 2--Missional Spiritual Habits

1. Read Matthew 25:31-40.
2. In Matthew 25:35-36, Jesus says, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger [foreigner] and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." How does doing these things (Pastor Jim calls them missional habits) help you grow closer to Jesus?
3. Jesus says that when we serve “the least of these,” we’re serving Him.
   1. Who in your life or community might be considered “the least of these” (hungry, a? 
   2. What would it look like to show compassion to them this week?
4. Showing mercy means offering grace—even when it’s not deserved.
   1. Is there someone you’ve been struggling to forgive or understand? 
   2. What might change in you spiritually if you chose mercy over judgment?
5. Justice asks deeper questions like, “Why are people in need?” and “How can I help change that?” Where do you see injustice in your community, and what small step could you take to be part of God’s healing work?
6. What missional habit from this week do you want to continue going forward?​
